Better Days is a melancholic narrative walking simulator. You play Justine Heron, a girl who just returned to her small hometown after college. As the world is slowly apart due to a recession, you attempt to convince your family to move out of town with you to green pastures and more prosperous cities.
Within this project, I was one of the two narrative designers and helped work on the narrative bible of the world, the characters, their personalities, and the questlines the player goes through. I also worked on dialogue and the implementation of dialogue. Due to constraints, I also picked up working on producing some of the sound effects for interactions and UI.
